This is one area where you need to take care to ensure you purchase the right type of additional battery for your Go Pro Camera. The best buy in my opinion is one of the Wasabi chargers that come with an additional two batteries, this provides the opportunity to both recharge and record at the same time, either using a wall socket of a 12v vehicle outlet. Additionally the Wasabi batteries are a slightly higher capacity than the standard GoPro which means less swapping of batteries!

If you want to stay with an official item then the Battery BacPac is a good option, but only comes with a single battery and is over twice the price of the Wasabi offering! It is however compatible with all versions of the Hero Cameras.

Capturing shots from different angles is what can truly make for a spectacular film, using a tripod allows you to set up your camera in a stationary position and film the action as it passes by, by editing together different footage taken from a variety of takes your videos will be much more interesting and memorable.

Having a tripod adapter for your GoPro Camera opens up even more options - all camera equipment fitted with a standard 1/4-20 tripod screw fitting can now be used to mount your camera!
